Terms & conditions of use
The terms for using this site, and the terms that apply to quotes, payment and leaving your vehicle with us.
Using this website
This site is run by N17 Bodyworks Ltd. By using it you accept these terms. You may browse it and contact us about your vehicle. You may not use it unlawfully, try to break into it, or copy our text and photographs for your own use without asking.
Quotes and estimates
This is the part worth reading before you book anything in.
- A price given from photographs is an estimate, not a fixed quote. Photographs cannot show damage behind a bumper or under a panel.
- A firm price comes after we have seen the vehicle in person.
- If we find more damage once work has started, we stop and call you with a revised price before going any further. Nothing is added to your bill without asking.
- Prices assume parts are available. If a part is discontinued or delayed we will tell you what that means for the price and the timescale.
- An estimate is valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.
Timescales, payment and your vehicle
Any timescale is our honest estimate from the damage and expected parts delivery, not a guarantee. Payment is due on collection unless agreed otherwise in writing; where an insurer is paying, you remain responsible for the excess and for anything outside the claim.
Please take valuables out before leaving the vehicle, as we cannot be responsible for items left inside. Vehicles are kept at our premises at your risk except where loss or damage is our fault. We ask that vehicles are collected within 7 days of us saying the work is done, after which reasonable storage may be charged.
Your rights as a consumer
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says our service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, in a reasonable time, for a reasonable price where none was agreed. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away. If anything here appears to conflict with them, your statutory rights come first.
Our liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Beyond that, and in relation to this website only, we are not liable for the site being unavailable, for inaccuracies in the general information on it, or for sites we link to. The photographs show real jobs from our own workshop. They illustrate our work rather than promise an identical result on your vehicle, because every repair is different.
What belongs to us
The text, photographs and design on this site belong to N17 Bodyworks Ltd. Please do not reproduce them without asking. Manufacturer names are the trade marks of their owners and are used only to describe work we have carried out.

Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version that applies to your job is the one published when you accepted our estimate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
